Default Emblem on dash

Got a wild hair to do something different on the dash.

Doesn't that concern you that it is right across the passenger air bag? If it deploys, wont that imprint the pony in someones forehead? I like the idea, but that would concern me placed there.

The tape holding it on is on the top of the panel so it will stay with the top panel if deployed! Thought of that before installing it there

i don't think it will matter which panel it's taped mostly to, the panel that it's not taped to will probably rip it off regardless.

I think its a tad too large for there anyway. I like a smaller tri-bar emblem

+1. An airbag deploys at around 200 mph (source), in which case, a little bit of 3M tape isn't going to do a thing to hold that emblem onto the panel you want it to stay on. Either the bottom panel (with the 200 mph airbag pushing it forward) or the airbag itself will rip that emblem off the top panel and straight into your passenger's face or chest or whatever.

I don't like how it looks anyway (kind of large and tacky in there), but that aside, it really just isn't safe if you have a passenger in the car, tape or not.

That is gonna hurt if your airbag deploys (hopefully that never happens) but someone is gonna get a face full of horse a$$.

It looks sort of big for the location to me.
