Default Tune/Gears

Hey guys, i'm finally looking to get a tune for my mustang. I wanted to get a set of 4.10's to go along with it as well. I heard great things from Brenspeed and BAMA Chips, but i was looking at a package from American Muscle. http://www.americanmuscle.com/xcal2-...r-oil-kit.html

Is this a go ahead? Or can i get a better deal somewhere else?

Thanks.

I didn't know they had a package like that, but it looks good!

I would do it if i didn't already have a cai+tune and 410s

Not familiar with their tunes, but two things.....

1. Make sure the FRPP gears are "A" gears and not "M" gears. A=FRPP gears, M=Motive gears....

2. Factory spec for the gear oil is 75/140. This advertises 75/90...

75w-90 or 75w-140 will work but I highly recommend going with 75w-140.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I decided to go with brenspeed after hearing all the great feedback about them, but i ordered their gears and they are "M" - motive gears. I saw that mlcrycc advised not to get these. Why shouldn't I have bought them and do i need to change my order? Thanks.

Thanks alot guys i emailed brenspeed and let them know. Last question, if i'm going to take my gears somewhere to be installed, do i need to purchase the synthetic royal purple gear oil still?
