Please lock this...everyone knows HGHFHJGKJBffis the way to go. Unless you like "pistola".That fact, coupled with your one footed transmission choice smacks of F-A-G. No longer search "auto or manual", search " pole or *****". If you bought an automatic on purpose, knowing full well you JUST PURCHASED A MUSCLECAR WITH A SOFTENED AUTOMATIC, you will probably go on to say that traffic's a bitch. That's what I'd say too...damn heels[8D]

If there wasn't a market for both then only one would be offered. Even GM succumbed to pressure and put an auto in the vette so they could sell more units and hit the segement that wanted a vette but couldn't drive sticks.

Who cares, get what you want, drive what you want. When we all arrive at the party, and are walking around mingling, nobody knows if you came in a limo, auto or manny tranny....and nobody cares

I have a manual, but I keep hearing time and time again the s197 tranny is amazing. Magazines tested it, it either keeps up or beats the manual...granted it's all about the driver, but they can't be that bad. So to Baddog, you are a dumbface.

Auto!

Wanted a stick, but could only afford an '06 leftover, right in my price range, so I chose between 2 '06 GT's left, both automatic.

It was either an auto Stang, or no Stang, so I took the auto, whatever...

I had 12 grand and it was either the Auto Mustang or the manual Scion. Its not a bad auto transmission, but I feel disconnected from my car at times when I want to be rowing through gears.
