Automatic or Manual?
this topic is really old. Some are gonna swear by manuals, others by automatics.
I will reply the same as always. I bought a auto because it cost more in the beginning and has a higher resale. Thus, the car is more valuable.

I have a double car garage. On one side I keep the automatic transmission, my purse and lipbalm. On the other the row-my-own gears, the steaks and the beer. I'm comfortable with who I am... J/K
. I am old school and believe for the purist driving experience, to actually FEEL what a car is feeling and dictate as much, a manual is in order. If your sole purpose is to go in a straight line in a consistent manor, an automatic with a brick or a taxi driver manipulating the loud pedal will get the desired results. It's all a matter of how involved you'd like to be as a driver. 2 pedals is less to worry about than 3. But then there's the HP scavaging. An automatic is more convenient. Dramatic burnouts in a manual. Lets make it simple. Are you lazy? If so, go clutch free

I bought a manual because I own 4 autos....got to have some fun once in a while. The auto may have a better resale value, but I know for the V6 Pony Package finding a manual was not easy. I would say the value on those would be more being that there are/were fewer made.
