Default Throttle Lag

Hello Everyone.

Ive noticed lately that my car is lagging a little bit. Does have the same punch like when I first bought her. Anyone have idea as to why and how I prevent this from continuing?

Disconnect your battery for 30 min
to reset computer adaptive parameters.

It may be time for a CAI and tune. It will make a huge difference.

You can try reseting the PCM by disconnecting the battery. It may be all you need to do.

The reset will take care of it, but as fast as the PCM learns from the O2 sensors, long term and short term, it only takes 20 miles or so of "learning."

Thanks all. I feel like my car thinks I drive like a Grandma. However, sometimes it difficult in the city I live in. Lots and lots of traffic. [:'(]

Are you changing your oil and air filter (or cleaning if you have K&N) regularly? Car maintenance is always a good thing too.

+1 on CAI and Tune
