Throttle Lag

RE: Throttle Lag
even with the cai/tune the car will still learn her driving habbits and not accelerate the same...there is a process with the turning the key to the on position without turning the car over. It resets the throttle response...anyone know the exact procedure? it's easier than disconnecting the battery

RE: Throttle Lag
Is the car ready for a tune up? My experience, either not enough gas or not enough air.
First try a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank and a new gas filter.
Dirty air filter? And like Tubra suggested, you could clean the throttle body. Also, some of the intakes have a white filter in the stock air intake tube. If you have it, just take that out and toss it.
+1 Best mod is Cold Air Intake and SCT tune from Brenspeed.

RE: Throttle Lag
turn the key on but dont crank the engine..wait till all the dash lights appear then go off...at this point press the gas pedal SLOWLY and EVENLY all the way to the floor (about a 6 count)..once down let go of the gas pedal at the same rate you pushed down (you'll hear the computer recalibrating if you listen closely)...and thats it...
