Default removing alum. dash panels

Has anyone removed the flat alum. decorative dash panels on the S197? How are they attatched... with clips or 3M tape or what? I want to be able to remove them without damage. They probably are very thin and easily bent.

Thanks

I traded mine with someones and it looked really easy. They just pull out and are held on by friction clips. BUT to take out the center trim, we needed to remove the trim on the center console, and then where the radio was. To take the right trim out we needed to remove the trim on the floor where it says mustang and the trim going up. To remove the gauge trim, you need to remove the center trim first.

I like the look of the Bullitt dash with its engine turned panels. I don't know if those are available for sale yet though. I could also use a vinyl engine turned material to overlay on my panels. Just checking out the possibilities right now.

MustangChris04 thanks for the reply. That sounds like a lot of work.
