are there any on lots? i read on msn msrp for a gt is around 25k, can i buy one for that or less??

05's are hard to find on lots, at least around here. If you did, I would guess it would be difficult to get under sticker, due to demand, unless you have x-plan or something. Plus, msrp of 25K wouldn't have a lot on it. Don't know what you want on it, tho, so maybe that's fine with you.

I'm looking at my invoice, for GT coupe premium. Base MSRP was $25, 706. Add options and destination/delivery and it came to $28, 450. Plus don't forget license, title, registration and document fee which was another $200.00 or so. Yeah, they get you every which way.

Go to Ford's website and build the car you want and price it. Then you'll know how much it should be.

Around here, dealers are adding a "market adjustment" adder to the sticker! About $1700.00 plus a mandatory $1400 ZEIBART treatment. People are buying every one that hits the lot. That puts a loaded GT well over 30K.

Hey, if its hot and the market will bear it, the stealers gonna get what they can. I tend to see about 5 or 6 every other week come in around local lots here.

Some others have posted they have lots of GT's on their area lots. Not sure what the factor is in getting them in certain regional areas.

CALL the dealer first, i saved AT LEAST 3GRAND on a brand new GT, plus i got 5 extra options from the factory (shaker 1000, IUP, Bullitt duces, another interior package i cant remember, and wheel locking kits, ALL for 2900 LESS than what another dealer was charging for a STOCK premium GT.

bascially my car has everything but the red seats that you can get from factory, all bc i called in, they had some internet deal where they sell it for invoice.

Thank god I live in Michigan! There is so much competition her with the big three since everyone and their mom works for the auto company. Spoke to my sales guy the other day and he said a Premium GT with everything except the Shaker 1000 (500 would be in the car) that the MSRP would be around 28K, give or take. I get the A-plan price since a family member works for Ford and that price is between 23K-23.5K. [sm=happy046.gif]

I forgot to mention that with A plan there is no market adjusting prices. It is no-hassle, the salesman makes a flat comission on the car and acts basically like a paper pusher for Ford. Hopefully you have a family member who works for Ford.

Got my 05 GT Deluxe fully loaded without the wheels and shaker system for 1000 under MSRP plus another 500 off for being in the Military. so total 1500 under MSRP, only paying 800 above invoice.
