My friend has a highly modified saleen superchardged , and Has a Steeda intake... I think the C&L would be a better applicatoin for his car. what you guy's think is the best intake for over 600hp/./.

 

I don't think it'll make that much of a difference since he's supercharged.

 

Umm.. well the steeda only has a 72 mm diamiter , and the C&L has 95mm diameater wouldn't that roab about 30 hp from the supercharger/.

 

The better questions would be. 1) How much boost is he running? 2) Who tuned the car? 3) What MAF sensor is he using? 4)What is his rwhp at the moment?

 

Are we talking about the MAF tube as in terms of size? I have a hard time believing it's only 72mm since I'm running a C&L intake with a 88mm maf tube for basic bolt on mods.

 

Oh. I must be thinking of the Steeda with the high-flow elbow then.

 

you mean he just has the steeda air filter on the end of the stock tube?

 

cai all in general are about the same a damn tube and a pipe... i even hear there is speculation as to how much hp any of em add..

He is running 8 to 10 boost... I am just wandering if there is anything technical data that would help in picking the right CIA for the car? For example the C&L flows 1,070 CFM . dose anyone know how much dose the steeda flows/.?
