Default SEquential Tail Light Question - Electricians wanted!

Hubby installed the sequential tail lights from American Muscle - plug and play type. Well, they work fine when you indicate and when you put the brakes on. But, when he just turns the lights on, two of the lights on the driver's side do not light up? The two inner ones. They light up fine when you indicate or brake though?? Does anyone have any idea what could be happening?

Thank you for your help...

Replace all your taillight bulbs with long-life sylvania bulbs.

The stock bulbs can't seem to handle the sequential tail lights.

Then, your trouble will be gone.

If that doesn't work, return them for a new one.

Pretty sure its the bulbs though. Let me know how it works out after you've replaced them.

When I installed mine from AM one of the bulbs stopped working very soon after so I changed it out. I just got the cheap little replacement bulbs probably should have got the slyvania long lasting so don't have to change them again. If that doesn't work like the post above says contact AM they are very constumer friendly and will send you another one.

Which kit and who manufacturers it?
CDC
WebElectrics
etc
Do you have a link to the item on the AM website, maybe?

replace the bulbs first with Sylvania LongLifes all the way around
if its the same and they still dont work,
replace the OEM harness back in and check for proper operation
if its normal, contact AM for a replacement sequential kit
basic detective work
you dont have the ever popular underdash water dispensor
someof us got but didnt want
the SJB controls the brake lights and sometimes it gets wet [:@]
passengers side carpet wet by chance?

I got the WebElectrics from Ninosport as AM was out of them and had no date on new ones coming in.

Mine work fine, installed two weeks ago with no problems to date. Stock bulbs.

The WebElectrics are dinosaurs compared
to the CDC Dynamite Sticks electronics wise.
WebElectrics are way behind the times in
latest semiconductor use and SMT technology.
CDCs are easier on the bulbs as they limit the
inrush current of a cold filiment bulb.
