Default Tire size question

Hey guys, getting ready to oder wheels and tires, I'm going 18" American Racing Shelby edition Torque thrust. (chrome) I want to go BFG G-Force KDW2, 255/45/18 front and 295/40/18 on backs. Will these fit with no rubbing issues? Offset I believe is 30 mm front 45 mm backs. I'm lowered with Eibach pro kit and d-specs on a 08 cs/gt vert. Or should I just go with the 285's on the rear. can anyone with this set post pics also.
thanks, Ed

The rear tire is 18x10?

I just ordered 18x9.5 rims for the back with a 285/40/18 tire, 35mm offset.

Tire calculator helps:

Just double check your tire height on the 295 if you are lowered. Make sure you have the wheel tucked in enough that it doesn't rub. I couldn't pull up a 295/45/18 on Tirerack.com to check the diameter, but since it falls between the 295/35/18 (26.1") and 295/45/18 (28.4") I would think it falls in the neighborhood of 27".

The 255/45/18 has a 27" diameter, so if you wanted to match that exactly, I'd go with the 285/40/18. Those are also 27" diameter. But like I said before, if you have the wheel tucked in enough, you should be able to get away with the 295/45.. Just double check the measurements.

Post'em up after you put them on.... You too Margarita Girl

Yeah, I'll probably go with the 285/40/18 to be on the safe side. The 295's are not that much wider, 285's are what the tire rack info says is the recommended size for these wheels.
