so i decided on sunday that i'll give my mustang the week off and drive the 89 deville for a change (which is getting harder with the sun out and imagining myself cruisin while blasting trance music, but that's besides the point)

so on monday ididn't drive it at all, then on tuesday i decided to drive it to work because the weather was so nice (but i brought it back at lunchtime because it looked like it was gonna rain)
on that tuesday when i came to start it, i heard a little squeaky noise for a split second. it sounded like it was coming from the shifter area (it's an auto).

i was wondering what that might be.

and does anyone know how to stop the door panels from rattling when the bass is pounding out of my speakers? i noticed that if i apply a bit of pressure on inside door panel it doesn't rattle. american cars and their poorly made interiors!
