I think something screwed up if there's a warning light coming on. Bring it back.

mine never turns on unless a passenger gets up out of the seat or I have something in the seat that is heavy enough to trigger it on and off while its on the seat

[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]It doesn"t turn on unless you have someone or something in the seat that weighs less than the minimum weight for the airbag to safely deploy in an accident.

Yea stick a bag of books or groceries of a backpack in the seat & see if it comes on, Ford knows we don't want to look at a yellow warning light for no reason. My kids weight about 70 lbs and the light is on or off depending on how they are sitting.

So wait a second, I'm confused. Now it the "Airbag Off" light won't turn off? .. even when someone isn't in the seat? If that's the case than something is wrong, take it back.

I was getting the light coming on & off when my gf was sitting in the passenger seat. She'd shift her weight and the light would go on...Then it would go off. Then it would go back on again. She's a little more than 110 lbs (at least, that's what she tells me; I've never been brave enough to ask her what she weighsandI don't have a deathwish!) so I know it wasn't the weight, exactly...But after I'd taken the car in for the Airbag Recall, the light nowdoesn't do the"strobe effect"when she shifts her weight. I'm assuming that they fixed it so that the light wouldn't keep going on and off with whatever they needed to do for the recall.
