Often they have trouble getting a good, solid reading with laser and, IF you're lucky to catch a piece of the shot, you'll have possibly a few seconds to react. They'll typically try for the front license plate or anything with a flat surface perpendicular to their position. I believe our headlights on our Stangs would give them problems because they're angled about 30 degrees from perpendicular. Our big, round fog lights, on the other hand, are probably good targets.
