My older brother had an 01 Cobra with an xpipe and it sounded amazing so I ordered one for my car...what do you know, the 3V sound completely different than the 4V...IMHO xpipes sound terrible on a 3V engine. The prochamber is the best sounding midpipe if you want the deep, muscle sound of the cobra and 2V motor....just sharing personal experience is all. Go prochamber, you wont regret it

 

I will definatle keep that in mind. The prices on these X pipes are amazing tho. The full length is 160 and the cut out is 90. maybe i will just save for a prochamber and do some more research on the sound difference. appreciate ur opinions!!

 

The main reason why the 3v sound so different is the muffler position. There is so much mid pipe to resonate. I went with a generic brand but have a full straight through exhaust. Pops out a blue flame when revving it out in first.

 

I am just trying to steer you in the right direction. I wasted over $800 on midpipes thus far and I don't want any others to do the same thing. The prochamber is seriously a masterpiece. You get what you pay for 99% of the time.

 

I really like the sound of your car prometheus prime!!! Sounds great. kinda what im going for. x's seem so raspy and i like that. h's r a deeper and havent heard a prochamber.
