Default 05+GT .vs 1992 GT question

A friend of my gf's has a 1992 Mustang GT and as far as I know, it's stock.. I cant see him putting any money into the car as he doesnt really have any...

Im getting a new GT in a few months and he said that his GT can "blow the doors off mine"

That true... would the 92 GT 5.0 be faster than an 05+ GT ?

Shouldn't an S197 V6 be able to handle a stock 92 GT?

You'll beat him easily. If you don't believe it slap a CAI with a tune on there and show him how very wrong he is.[8D]

Since I have an SN95 with a 302, and an 05 GT vert, I can probably throw my .02 in here.

The SN197 will smoke the 92 unless it's been worked on.

Let's see.... Hmmmm... SN 197 - new from dealer - Almostno miles, still pretty tight engine, but running good.

92 is 16 to 17 years old, and HOW many miles? And how well maintained?

Now I don't doubt for 2 nano seconds there are 92's that would blow my vert's doors off. But stock for stock (even well maintained?)the 92 doesn't have much of a chance.

You know...no grown man would ask that question.. Not even one that's been in a cardboard box for 15 years..
