I rather have semi-gloss black, like the 60s.
Flat black doesn't age very good...
In 2 years, it will look dark grey, yikes.
A customer (I love this) turned me on to the John Deere acrylic enamel black.
They call it Blitz Black and it's $24 a gallon! But be sure to mix it with catalyst (hardener).
Ratio is 8 to 1 and then reduce if needed (10% max).

coming from some one that has matte/flatblack painted stripes on the car be fore warned that caring for this type of paint is an issue. This paint does not have enough lope to it, meaning the sunlight it not good to it. Be sure that you geta qualitymatted black paint product.

love the blitz black. Thisis the reason why all my emblems , hood pins, louvers hood vents, headlight covers, fogs, side markers, and even my exhaust tips are powder coated to match all blitz black baby.
It makes the car look so dam mean with just my head light covers and fogs painted this color along with my tinted window from the front I must say I havent seen another stang that looks as mean as this, dont matter what front end you got the combo of all this darkness is just evil looking.
pascal is going to add the final touches of blitz to my car as of monday whoo hoo ill have pics for ya.
Ya ai agree with pascal though do semi gloss the all flat gets marked up way to easy and liek soembody else stated the sun will f*ck it up real quick.
Blitz black all the way[8D]
P.s I even painted my zex kit blitz black. and my rims im going with are semi flat black giovannas[:-]
