your buzzer is supposed to hit at 50 miles til empty and the red when you're dangerously close to being out.

my red light came on when i had 7 miles left on the tank.

You really shouldnt run your car much further below 1/4 tank. If you keep running it down to E like that, you might damage your fuel system (most likely fuel pump.)

I like myindicator lights (red). You have to pay extra for that with autometer gauges! I think my low fuel came on around 10 miles but I've only let it get that far down twice in 20k miles. What a worthless post lol!!!!

Sorry man, I know it's disheartening the first time one of your gauges lights up RED.

It was for me too.

What I don't understand is why it says you're low on gas when you really aren't, the tanks are 16 gallon tanks, not 14 (check the manual) but it seems that the computer only thinks there is 14 gallons to begin with, so you SHOULD have at least a gallon or 2 left even if it shows 0 miles to go. Something to think about...

I've been down to 0 left and made it to a station 2 miles up the road. lol!!!

I drive up and down I35 in Austin, TX and if you get off of the interstate in the morning you are really screwed. Plan on being 20 mins or more later for work.

Sometimes I just forget to fill up at night. Or I'm just lazy which is probably the real reason...
