bump

I mean is this even a viable option isntead of putting on some proformance heads. I mean even going to the three valve and changing even less but still gaining horsepower. Atleast to me it doesnt seem to have that many difficutlys

Ok I hate to press the issue but would it be totally impossible to draw some attention to someone who could actually produce some 3valve heads or atleast tell me it is an option

The answer to your question is make your 3 valve heads flow as good as 4 valves heads. To swith over isnt smart idea with all things considered whether it can, has, or can't be done.

That isnt what I was talking about thought I was saying I have a V6 and this summer I will be in the market for a set of heads most likely, I was just trying to put a spark in someones head to make a 3Valve set up for the 2Valve 6ers. I think it is a viable option if you were in the market for head if you could get someone to mass produce them and keep the prices realitive for a set of head considering that they are 3Valves

Ok I have rolled this idea around in my head for a while. Why cant we have DOHC in our cars. Maybe this is the wrong place to post this, but since we have SOHC why doesnt anybody make some sort of kit to to change them over. I may be just simply minded mechanically but it seems all you would have to chance would be the heads, timing wheel, and timiming wheel cover. Possible change the pistons to. I have a older fellow proably 30's or that works at the Ford dealership. All he says might be a problem was the oil routing. It would be expensive, but I believe that given the deffinite advantages that it would be accpeted especially for juicing the V6's up (because that is what I have). So alteast tell me do you think this a good idea to press and how would we get it through. Give me any imput you can
When did 30's become old... damn! Anyway, the best thing to do is buy a new engine, if you want DOHC.
