CAI Cleaning Filter
Cleaning kit. Clean it from the
inside out to avoid forcing dirt
THRU the filter media.
NO compressed air used to clean.
DONT over oil or your MAF will be damaged.
And lastly, is it really dirty?
They go 50,000 miles before
needing to be cleaned?
Some even throw them away and
buy a new pre-oiled ready to go filter
instead of cleaning the old one.
Remember, a slightly dirty filter collects
more dirt than a freshly cleaned and oiled
one but also flow less air.
Install a pantyhose pre-filter to keep the
bugs out of the pleats.

Just replaced my K&N with an Amsoil (#EAAU6065). No oil involved, 5 times more efficient in trapping small particles as the K&N. I've used K&N for years, but I know something better when I see it.
