wash wax?i hope you're not talking about that car wash stuff with wax "built in". That stuff is garbage. I like meguiars gold glass car wash followed by their nxt wax. When you get to your stripes put the wax on in the direction of the stripes don't go in a circular motion around the edges just rub in the direction of the stripes. but like i said please don't use that car wash/wax crap on your car. at least not your mustang...

tunsten07 I bought my girl some Turtlewax ice car wax/wash/soap or whateverand it looks pretty good on her car. I don't use either I go to a laser wash to clean my car. Does good since I use fukken wax while drying her and wax it once every 4 months or so. meguires NXT paste wax FTW Btw

yeah I hear you. turtle wax's ice product line is pretty good and my brother-in-law uses the wash on his car and it looks fine but he like you also waxes it 3-4 times a year. I just know of a lot of people who use that wash/wax stuff thinking of it as a replacement for wax which it's definitely NOT. Sorry to the OP if I jumped the gun there I just assumed it was another person trying to use that stuff instead of wax and elbow grease. But yeah +1 on the turtle wax ice wash if you're looking for something in between real waxings.

Meh. NXT is decent, but I'm not a big fan of all that polymer garbage.

BlackfireUSA.com has some AMAZING products for keeping your stang nice looking. Carnauba paste wax FTW! But, you gotta keep your car garaged, the sun will do a number on the carnauba. With occassional weekday trips and almost every weekend, I wax once a month or so. But there's nothing else like it!

Check out this pic of the hood. Yes, that's a reflection of the garage door in the hood. And it was taken with a crappy cell phone camera.

Look for a company called aerocosmetics.com

I used this stuff on my airplanes, cars, bikes etc. About $24.95 per gallen Stuff is super, no wax or petrol distilates. UI sweaar by this stuff. Also best part no wax built up or haze if you miss a spot. This stuff is all I used on all my 2 and 4 wheel toys

I've been using "Race Glaze" Polish and Sealant. Anyone else tried it? Black Shelby GT-H convertible (not the top of course!)

i assume he was asking because most shops who install stripes tell you to stay away from paste wax/ or anything that hazes up.

pretty much just leaves you with the wash and wax.

anyways, ive got stripes and i just used the ice wash + wax, worked great and my stripes seem to be okay.
