there could be a issue with the clutch packs. there is a TSB on it.

Mine has done it for a while too. No idea what it is though... It also sounds like it's creaking or something... Very strange...

exactly. someone said it could be the lower ball joint. but i dont have alot of miles on my car.

I have the same noise as well when turning. sounds something like errrrreeewwweee.

I want to say mine has done it for the last 30K miles or so. I am at 50K right now.

Good to see mine's not the only one doing it. I'm running Eibach Pro's with the stock struts BTW. It's annoying for sure, and today's oil change day for me so while I have the front end in the air I'll see if I tell what's going on. Then again, it might only do it if the front suspension is loaded...
