Too bad these kits don't come with primer. I used Duplicolor's kit and it flaked awful over the winter storage. This time I used high temp Engine Paint after first putting on 2 coats of primer and it's been good for 2 yrs.

Yeah the g2 paint works good make sure you really clean them good with a degreaser, Summit also sells a paint kit for rotors. One guy in my club took all his brake stuff off and had them professionally powder coated. A whole lot time, money, only to keep the factory rotors. I d a bought the brake kit and braided lines for all that trouble.

i used the G2 kit on my new edge, worked great. nice and long lasting.
i used the Duplicolor kit on my current car, with a ton of clearcoat. took me two full days. i hope it lasts as long as the G2. Pic below.

20 bux wow...i think i picked up the duplicolor caliper paint for my grand prix for maybe 5 bux...still have a bunch left...only did 2 coats and as far as i know it still looks good - i sold it 3 years ago

The kit came with the break cleaner, paint, brush, etc.
No masking and didn't spill a drop. More precise than the spray paint.

i used spray caliper paint from checker 4 bucks did a good job except spend about two hours sanding the calipers then cleaning them. I dont want that paint to come off in a long time. Also make sure you cover the rotors real good i got some red paint in the inside part of them and it wont come off. A long afternoon with a q tip and acetone awaits me .
