Default 12v "dimmed" power for gauges??

Where can I hook up my mechanical gauges so that they are hooked up to variable voltage (dim when I dim the interior lights)? I looked up the diagrams, but can't make any sense of where to start looking.
I also need a constant 12v for my aeroforce gauge, right?

Thanks
