RE: Boss striping on 2005 GT stang
I see what youre saying, but like a normal person(not us, lol) driving down the road would see his car and would think it was a gt500. They wouldnt be looking for snakes on it to be sure. I dunno i think he and I are basically in the same boat.

All she was looking for is where to get some boss stripes and we get into badging wars. I dont think its cool putting on badges or graphics on a car which it isnt, but this isnt what she wanted to hear. I guess Im in the bad for installing a Roush hood on a car that isnt a Roush, you guys be the judge

The 69 Boss style C-Stripes can be found at the above mentioned places, and Graphics Express, Bob WhiteDecals & Baltimore Street Mods.I've got the kit from Graphics Express on mine.
The best 70 Boss style I've seen are here;

I don't like the ebay ones as well as the above.

Or am I going to have to buy the whole thing?
I still think it's little weird seeing the Boss stripes on something other than the 69 or 70 428, but I love the look!
My new, black louvers and black rear spoiler are on the way, so it may be near the end of mods for me!

I didn't think they ever labeled a car 428. I thought they were all labeled 302 or 429 since the 428 was the Mach motor and most Machs were labeled MACH.
I don't know for sure though since I didn't live back then...

uhhh... 302 stripes on a v6? Im glad I didnt have to see this pic! lol. With stangs, its gotta be at least a GT to fly with me
But yeh my bf is kinda wanting the stripes in red, and im wanting them in gloss black.. what do you think would look best? anyone have pics of a silver stang with red stripes?
I included a really bad pic of the stang (and me..). Its at the Tail of the Dragon in NC/TN.
and addy to stripes I wanted:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI
They come in a few colors and options- I was wanting the ones that DONT say boss, since thats lying a whole lot lol.
Opinions on stripe colors?

Acually Pink and silver don't look so bad together and I wouldn't mind it on a girls car... I wouldn't even say it looks bad, cause I would understand it's for a girl... But if I saw a dude rolling in a pink, that's a different story...
