Default trade in value?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the trade in value of these cars are? A ford dealership has a 03 cobra for sale, there askin $29,900 for it. Its red with a black convertable top, 39,000km's on it, looks bone stock except for maybe exhaust tips. The body does have some paint chips on it, but other then that it is in really good shape. Just wondering what to expect if I were to try to trade my car for this one. Are these cobra's worth more then a 05 gt? Thanks.

I have the exact same milage as the cobra. Overall shape I believe my car is better, but its not a cobra. I am just wondering how much more this cobra would be worth then the gt in lets say 10 years.

I've been quoted $14,500-$15,000 as a trade in value for my 05 GT, 37k miles.

So, the cobra IS twice as much as our cars worth.

To give you an idea, I just sold my '03 Cobra for $25,000 with 21,000 miles on it. I then turned around and purchased a used '06 GT automatic for $13,500. I pocketed over $10,000 in cash. The Cobra was faster but the GT is more refined in my opinion.

Seems like you got a good deal on that gt. Well, if that is the case, then I guess I will be keeping the gt, don't have that kind of money kicking around. Thought these cars would keep there value a little better then that.

You get nothing for your mods. But when they turn around and sell it all of a sudden it worth a whole lot more.

What I didn't tell you is that the GT had 96,000 miles on it. The Honda dealer that had it for sale couldn't finance the car with this many miles and had to sell it to a cash buyer like myself. Originally they were asking $17,900 for the car, but I got them down to $13,500.
