I have to agree there................even if o/r x pipes were banned from all mustangs, that wouldnt make a dent in the amount pollution coming from EVERTHING else, like diesels, industrial plants, etc........I agree, we are not helping but looking at the bigger picture, we are just a minute percentage of the contribution When the time comes that I have to, I will do my part but until then, Im loving it loud and fast!!

See, we didnt flame ya!!!

We keep our Stang's engines running at peak or close to peak performance. (at least most of us) that alone reduces pollution

I personally blame Pennsylvania for all the coal burning energy plants. listen we got nuke plants. lets use them.
We've got "nuke plants" here in Pennsylvania as well. One of them is named Three Mile Island. Perhaps you've heard of it...

it's all about the sound dude, not the power....

although i think the 05+ sounds like poo without cats. (high-flows FTW)

if i was to get another 94-04, the first thing I'd do is yank the cats

until you throw them away and contaminate the earth with all the mercury that is inside them.

"When a CFL bulb finally dies--after years and years and years!--it cannot be dropped in the trash like an incandescent; it must be recycled by specially equipped recycling facilities. CFLs contain mercury. If one breaks in your home, Kazman says, EPA guidelines suggest you open windows and leave the room for at least a quarter of an hour before trying to clean up the mess. And for God's sakes don't use a vacuum, which could disperse the poison into the air. Even when they're intact, U.S. News happily tells us, "the bulbs must be handled with caution. Using a drop cloth might be a good new routine to develop when screwing in a light bulb."

(i also have florescent bulbs, but only because i'm cheap and i save on the electricity bill!)

I've switched to florescant bulbs in my home. That does more for the environment than both of my cars running off road exhaust hurts.
