Thats only for the wheels once you add staggered tires they will run you about $600-$700 more for the set thats close to 2g's, if I am correct.

ORIGINAL: Rollingstone

I've reading it's recommended to have 20x10 on the back and 20x8.5 in the front, but i'm on a budget and it's cheaper to get 20x8.5 all around cause the tires for a 20x10 wheel are more expensive. So, is it ok? Whats the difference?

Thanks.
If you get 20" wheels, I would recommend at least a 275 width tire, or else (in my opinion) the tire looks too thin compared to its height. I know you can fit a 275 tire on a 9" wide rim, but not sure about an 8.5" rim.

Regardless of what you do, I would STRONGLY recommend you don't cheap out on wheels or tires. Cheap wheels may not balance true, and give you a lot vibration. Cheap tires can give you vibration, not hook up worth anything, and give you plenty more headaches down the road. A couple of guys on another forum replaced their Dunlops and Pirellis with cheaper tires (Toyo Proxes 4 and Hankooks) in the same exact size and immediately regretted their decision.

Also, with 20" wheels, if you do run into any problems (with tires or wheels), you'll notice them far more than you would with 18" rims.

Uhh, your budget for 20's WITH rubber is $1300?? I strongly urge you to rethink that.. My rims alone were $1200 including lugs and locks..

That's a sweet ride, exx1976.

Btw, what size tires did you go with for your rears?
