2005 Mustang GT - How good on gas?

98LS1 is right, if you are concerned at all about the gas mileage, you should probobly look at another car. The thing that I liked but only realised until after I got the car was that running on 87 octane is a very good thing. Some cars (new GTO) require 93 octane and that will kill your wallet more than anything. I got a good laugh when I was at the track and my mustang said I was getting 6 mpg. Now that's gas mileage.

where in hell in CA do I get 93 octane I pay the highest in the country and I dont get 93?? wtf... but thats not the issue here.. any hoot.. I bet if you get a SCT or pred tune it would go up a little.. from what I heard ford makes these thigns run rich from the get go.. So increase some hp and get a little better mph.. what a deal

You'd think that anyone that read the first post would be able to avoid opening their mouth without sounding like an idiot, but ahhh, it's America and people are free to be idiots.
Bill ALREADY ORDERED HIS MUSTANG GT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is not looking at another car. He asked as an FYI, not as a decision-making tool.

No, I'm an *******.
Since gas is going up considerably, all I hear is moaning and complaining. That always helps the situation. It's like bitching about the heat in the summer. If you're so worried about gas mileage, why didn't you buy a 6'er...or a Civic. Unless it's an image thing with you. Which, thusly, you still could have just got the 6'er.
