98LS1 is right, if you are concerned at all about the gas mileage, you should probobly look at another car. The thing that I liked but only realised until after I got the car was that running on 87 octane is a very good thing. Some cars (new GTO) require 93 octane and that will kill your wallet more than anything. I got a good laugh when I was at the track and my mustang said I was getting 6 mpg. Now that's gas mileage.

I pay the highest in the country and I dont get 93?? wtf... but thats not the issue here.. any hoot.. I bet if you get a SCT or pred tune it would go up a little.. from what I heard ford makes these thigns run rich from the get go.. So increase some hp and get a little better mph.. what a deal

geez people.. the guy asked a simple question.... he didnt even sound all like hes ready to complain about low mileage... just asked a legitimate question.... wheres the crime in that?

Since gas is going up considerably, all I hear is moaning and complaining. That always helps the situation. It's like bitching about the heat in the summer.
