Default Project: Compound Boost

Well some of you may remember I was planning on putting the Kenne Bell 2.8L blower on my motor. That was the plan when I swapped the cobra motor into the carback in January. However, things have changed. After several late night beer drinking sessions with my Tuner Richard Lelsz we have changed directions (it's amazing how HP requirements increase proportional to the amount of beer consumed ).

No Kenne Bell for Ol'blue. Nope, were going to do a compound boost project. Richard has tappedawell knowncompany to mock the prototype. At this point I can't reveille to much about it. But I can say the HP requirements are 1000 rwhp with a potential for 1200.

We have some work to do before we are ready for it but the car will be running a ported Eaton blower, the turbo system, and nitrous.

I will keep everyone posted with info as the project progresses!!

I wanted to go twin-charged with my 4.0 but decided on another route. Good luck on the project and keep us posted!

Well I try to clip coupons when ever possible! Actually I own a company and it sponsors Richard Lelsz 10.5 car.

Car runs 7.56 at 186 mph on a true 10.5 inch wide tire!

My daughter is 10.........so stay away!!!![8D]
