Default 4:10'S INSTALLED!!

I FINISHED MY GT AND WOW!!!the change from 3:31[:'(]to 4:10 is amazing. i used all ford parts(gear and assembly equipment). it took me and a friend about six hours, but it was soooooooooooooo worth it.....no noise, real quick to rpm range, just perfect......gas mileage has gone form 27 to 25, but who cares? one, if not the best, mods i have ever done.......

You're making my mind up. I have 3.55's n/a and my powerband has moved up soooo higher now with intake/exhaust mods. I want to go F/I in the future and didn't really want too much gear in my DD mustang but I'm really starting to crave the gear like the the 4.56's in my truck. It really YANKS you!!

And my 20' rims don't help. I put 20's on the truck and HAD to add the gearing.

What's the general cost of getting 4:10's installed? It seems like a mod that I would be interested in...

It cost me about a grand including installation on my truck but that was with a $600 Richmond Powertrax unit. I would say around $400 parts and install. Maybe $500 at the most.

I'm thinking about trying some 4.56's myself. [8D]

I don't know about 4:10's.. but 4.10's should be from $300-$500 depending on the installer.
