Default Factory Differential?

What is the factory differential? Saw on newtakeoff.com that I can get a new axle for my car with the Trac-Loc and 3.73...thought that would be the cheapest and best way to go to have a strong rear axle for the car...but what is the Trac-Loc? Is there going to be a button or switch inside the car that i can use to lock the rear differential for drag racing or what?

8.8", you already have Trac-loc. Trac-loc is Fords name for Limited Slip.

All you have to do is upgrade the gears inside the existing differential.
