Default HID - 8000k - Headlights/foglights?

hey guys..

after talking to several (more than 1) ppl about how the put HID's in there cars, (one was an altima and one was a scion), i found out that they both used the same brand name, and they are plug and play applications..

so my questions are....
1)should i be worried about the housing on the head light getting melted?..

they both used the 8000k kit, and havnt had any problems with it, and the altima has had them in for maybe 4 months.. the scion maybe a month..

2)and what do i have to do to make my fog lights, my driving lights, if that makes sence?..
i love the way the way it looks running around at night with just the fog lgihts on and not the head lights.. looks good.. so would i be able to just put a h13 kit in the fog lamps (h13- headlight bulb and h10- fog lamp bulbs)

here is the user on ebay that i am considering buying from.. and it also says the bulbs have a 2 year warranty.. so thats good to know also..

these kits are only $48.99 + shipping.. so $100 plus like $40 for shipping isnt bad for HID's in the heads and fogs..

thanks for your time ladies
