Default Mystery Wire

I was doing a rattle search and came across this shoved up under the dash. Any ideas on what it might be. Pretty sure its not factory, lol.

not sure what it was....but it
looksprofessional..

if you really want to know what it might
have been, we would need the wire
colors and where they go (SJB, cluster etc...)

Its a green/aqua wire. Spliced into a harness that runs from box on drivers side kick panel to SJB (I think).

Are you jokin? I know you are.
You were just baiting me, Ham.
All those crappy IDC connectors.
This is exactly what I mean by
forking something over wiring wise
and the poor bastard who gets the
stang next. That was the makings
of an improperly installed aftermarket
alarm unit. The wire in your hand was
suppost to be the starter circuit cut-out
relay. The plug is the alarm unit supplied
"my alarm wont let me start the darn car
so install the bypass jumper" emergency
bypass jumper. Pull the plug and see if
she turns over via the key. If thatsANY
indication of how the rest of the wiring
looks, sell that puppy ASAP and try again
to get a good un-user modified stang.
Green or Lite green?
Aqua or lite blue?

Pulled the connector end and wouldnt start. I've been all through the car and can find no other evidence of wire tampering/splicing. Should i just leave this mess or try to remove it??
