Also, here in Jersey there selling brand new 08 vettes w/ the ls3 motor for 38G.

damn!!! what dealership? thats extremely cheap.
I think its the Berlin Dealer on rt 73. I see the sale in the sunday news paper all the time. New "base" vette for 38G.

That's a half truth. The Carfax report will only show an accident if it was reported to the police and/or insurance company. If this guy happened to get into a collision with his next door neighbor and they settled it without a police report or insurance intervention, then Carfax will not show that this ever happened.

Get a mechanic you trust to do a compression check and check other stuff out too. That's the only way you're good to go. If he thinks it's all good I think you're good to go
