I've been toying with the idea of taking mine off and putting on a real shaker... best of both worlds right there.

Shaker doesn't cover the stock holes ... [>:]

I want one ... and don't care what anyone says. [8D]

Can't really afford a new hood + paint and would like to see my front end w/ the scoop.

1. unloosen the four nuts and pop out the remaining plastic studs.

I love my scoop (although it isn't the best fitting scoop). I may 3M it in the future where it bulges.

try this, go to a local car show {mustang} offer your hood for trade with someone who has
the same color car.

I've taken mine off to install the stripes and as you can see in the pic there are 12 holes that you would have to fill. I would be afraid that welding in those holes could warp the aluminum hood.

I like my scoop and couldn't care less if someone else doesn't like it.
