Sirius Satellite Radio: Worth it or not???

RE: Sirius Satellite Radio: Worth it or not???
I've had it for years now and love it. I havn't listened to regular radio in years and I rarely listen to CDs or my iPod in the car anymore.
I have a few stations I listen to most, depending on my mood...
Lithium 24 - 90's alternative
Punk 29 - Punk
Faction 28 - Rock, Punk, Hip-hop (I only listen to it if Jason Ellis is the DJ, freaking hilarious, but most of the songs they play suck)
Classic Rewind 15 - Classic Rock from the late 70s to early 90s
Alt Nation 21 - Modern alternative
Reggae Rhythms 97 - Reggae
New Country 60 - Country
Big 80s - 80s Music
Siriusly Sinatra 75 - Sinatra and other similar artists

Had it for about 4 years I believe ... they offered me the chance to get a lifetime for $399 and I jumped all over it.
Mine pretty much stays on Octane 20 ... occasionally I'll check out the Shade 45, or even HotJamz 50 ... of course being the sports nut I am .. 124 is a GODSEND! NFL Radio is the best thing since sliced bread! lol
If you like a lighter acoustic sound, I believe there is a channel called Coffee House ... haven't checked it out yet.
After 3 months, you will (no doubt) be hooked!

Commercial radio sucks.
I've had XM since it came out. When I bought my GT I had the Sirius put in.
I currently have 3 receivers, 2 XM and 1 Sirius.
I don't think I've ever tuned in a commercial station in my car.

My Stang came with 6 months free. They hooked me. I travel long distance and have 3 channels that I can listen to on a 13 hour trip and be totally satisfied. I renewed after the 6 months. Not cheap, but I couldn't let it expire! Just too good...

I absolutely love it. Have a lifetime Stiletto, as well as the one in the car (which I renew every 6 months). I haven't turned on my FMradio in months, nor do I bother plugging the iPhone into the Aux jack. Sirius will suffice.

Damn... People seem to love their Sirius Satellite. Now I'm definitely excited to see what everyone is talking about. Can't wait to call and getit hooked up.
