Sirius Satellite Radio: Worth it or not???

RE: Sirius Satellite Radio: Worth it or not???
I bought a test subscription for my wife for x-mas a few years back. It was an instant hit. Now I have two lifetime subscriptions that I split between three cars and a home stereo.Lifetime isthe only way to go. For me I thinkit paid for itself in just under three years. I haven't listened to AM/FM in almost four years now, and rarely do I listen to a CD anymore. The one thing to think about is what kind of tuner you really want. If the Mustang is your only car, you inted to keep it for a while, and you don't listen toSatallite radio in your home, the factory systemwill workjust finefor you. If you have multiple cars, and want to listen to the radio inyour home, it is probably worth it to purchase andinstall a portable tuner. Theportables generally have more features than the factory head unit, and they are starting to make adaptersthatwill allow you to control it with the factory or aftermarket radio.

Also, just so everyone knows... if you have sirius, you can listen to it for free through your computer as well. Just go to sirius.com and you'll find it. I listen to it this way all the time cause I live in a dorm right now, so my computer doubles as my stereo. Sound quality is fairly good as far as I can tell, but you can buy a subscription to an even higher quality.

Because of this post, I gave Sirius a call today, and they offered me 3 months for $12, so I took it. I've been driving around town all day with the top down rocking out to Hairnation, Octane, and Shade 45...
I love it so far.
