For those who said not to launch with nitrous engaged...
When I first purchases my zex kit, there were a bunch of posts saying not to launch with it engaged because you'll do nothing but spin tire in 1st gear. So for a few months I was too scared to try it out and see what would happen, especially since I had a 2" drop front and back and I didn't change my LCA's yet. So I finally put on my new LCA's with the relocation bracket (bolted to the bottom hole of course) and thought I would have some fun on a back road.
First I tried just putting it in gear, waiting for it to catch and then gunning it. Worked perfectly! No spin what so ever and the new LCA's eliminated my 1st to 2nd chirp 100% when previously without them and without using nitrous I would basicallyperform a mini burnout when I shifted hard. Next I decided to launch revving up to 3k and dropping the clutch. I gained traction in no time and ripped 1st through 3rd with no problem. Then I got a little bold and thought I would try launching at 3k again and then powershifting 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th. The launch went great and I slightly chirped 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th had no loss of traction.
Not too sure if it's my setup or if theres no real loss of traction with just a 75 shot, I'm sure if you go up to say a 150 shot though your going to spin as if you were gunning it in 1st with a s/c.
Anyway, here's my important mods that might have had something to do with it:
4.10 gears
75 shot
hurst shifter
LCA's with relo bracket
18x10 rears with 285/40-18 rubber
with the nitrous shot I'm at 368whp
Next step is getting my Spydershaft in the mail and then hitting the track for some good times [sm=badbadbad.gif]

RE: For those who said not to launch with nitrous engaged...
I launched at 4500 on the stock clutch, ET streets, and about 355 hp (**** tune) with no problem. You should be able to launch a 150 shot with the right tires ...

I wanted to go with a bigger shot but I'm too lazy to switch tunes back and forth so I would be using the nitrous tune with the removed timing as my primary and I don't feel like driving a de-powered mustang [8D]

I have no traction in 1st gear and I spin second once it hits the power band around 4500rpms. That's with the conservative whipple tune and 8psi pulley. What kind of 285/40/18's do you have?
I need some better street tires.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RUN AT THE TRACK!?!...
and how much did the 75 shot alone give you compared to with out it?

I had to, I had no choice. I wasn't planning on it before today. I had blinds put in and I had to be there for 4 hours with nothing to do since nothing is in the place yet. Then I went to my garage and saw the parts just laying there calling out my name. You see I had no choice. Plus this way I know exactaly how to help you with yours, see its a win/win situation here haha. Plus, while you get them LCA's in order I can he hooking up your nitrous system, see doesn't that sound like a sweet deal?
