Default Killed Bullit w/500 miles

Just bought an 08 Bullit with 4 miles on it 10 days ago. I put about 500 miles on it and today I brought it over to dealer to check out whine in rear end.The dealer calls me a couple hours later and tell me they have to replace all gears in the rear.I know it's under warranty and all but I'm a little worried about the whole deal, the dealer has another one in stock ya think I'm entitled to ask for a whole new car?

Man that sucks.
They probably wont give you a new car but just repair that one.
Goodluck with the repaired and just give the new gears 3 heat cycles and you will be good to go.

I'd bet money the whine will still be there when you get it back.....b/c it's likely not the gears.

3 heat sikles.. Run car, drive normal, let car cool, run car, drive normal let car cool, run car, drive normal let cool.. It'll set your gears so they dont get messed up so easily.. I usally figure about 100 miles on new gears, before you can stop on it.. and 1500 miles on engine before getting close to 5krpg..

thats just me, give the car a little normal brake in time. I also changed my oil in my cars at 1k miles, just incase there was any debree that broke off anywhere in brake in.

It's mass produced. Things go wrong. Have them fix it. Forget about it. Once it's fixed it will probably last for years and years without a problem. I really don't think you have anything to worry about.
