encounter with a vette...
ok, i know this is probably supposed to go in the street/strip section but it involves my 05 so here it goes. I'm cruising home today from school at about 70mph. all of the sudden, some young punk in a silver convertible corvette C5 comes hauling *** up on me and rides my *** like a hemorrhoid. Anyways, he finally gets up beside me and revs it so i take off. from 70 to 120, i had a car and a half on him and he never caught up. as i was exiting, he pulls back beside me and gave me a go to hell look and kept on driving.
I didnt care because by that time, my head was so swollen up that i could barely fit it in the car...

yeah, my mods are listed in my signature. I have no idea what year it was, had to be somewhere between 98 and 04. I dont really know the distinctions between those years. All i know is that he had an aftermarket exhaust b/c the tips were quad but each one was half-oval shaped. didnt sound too bad when he revved it though.

According to the people selling it, no retune needed. I believe that the couple of folks on here that have it have confirmed that. If I would ever get off my lazy *** and order one ( which I actually do intend on doing ) I will let ya know first hand. I don't really see how a retune would be necessary. Basically all it is is a hotter ignition, like a MSD or Morroso, or Accell. Just that it is an add on unit instead of a complete replacement system.

Nice Kill, I know alot of Vette Owners that have no respect for Mustangs.
I would guess he's driving a 2.73 automatic with few if any mods they
arent 'that' fast a lightly moded GT can beat up on Automatic Vettes ( C5's ).
Though he will kick your butt in gas milage lol. I managed 31.5 mpg
driving from VA to Mid-Ohio Raceway. though I only got 6mpg on the
track LOL.
