So I took a trip to a local performance shop today and inquired about getting some performance parts for my car. After talking with them, I ended up getting the following mods.

4.10 gears
Kook's Headers
SCT Tuner

Any thoughts on how this should help my performance? Any other mods that would help me out performance wise (aside from a supercharger, procharger, turbo, or NOS).

 

If I were you, I would swap the headers for a catback exhaust

 

I wouldnt, headers will make a very nice change in the sound and increase those numbers. Very nice choices.

 

The guy I talked to at the performance shop said that it should give my exhaust a much deeper aggressive sound and that the mods and tuner should put me at about 300rwhp and give me much better performance off the line.

 

Heres my dream exhaust set-up:

Kooks LT's along with the O/R X + Magnapacks. Sooooooooo hot.

 

On mine they used Kooks Full Length Headers With X-Pipe High Flow Cats.

 

Oh, my bad. I thought they were going to put in shorties[:@].

 

LOL Nope. I'm hoping to get some good performance increase out of it. I"m supposed to race a friend of mine who is modding his 350z in July. So I'm hoping to be able to pull off enough to win.

 

Do you have any mods besides the ones listed?

 

then why dont you buy it??
