Disappointed with Boomtubes / Frpp GTA
Ok, so it's obvious that there are alot of people who like the boomtubes and GTA axle backs. However, I want if anyone does not like either one of these options and why? As of right now im leaning towards the GTA's, just because I don't want to sound too loud and perhaps obnoxious.

Pretty big jump their.
GTA's (Superior) are just slightly Deeper than stock and not all that much louder in my opinion.
Very little is any resonance.
Boomtubes / Loudmouths / Pypes Muffler Deletes are essentially just Muffler Deletes with Pretty Tips.
They are going to be a lot louder. Not as loud as you might think though with Factory Cats.
I you want Deep and loud enough to make a difference without being obnoxious I would look at MAC Flowpaths.
They do Resonate like old 2 chamber Flowmasters on a Catless 5.0 though.
The FRPP GT Stringers (Borlas) are a nice medium in my opinion.

I think the GTA's sound awesome with the FRPP splice-in X-pipe on the GT-H in this video....not as good as stingers, of course.

Here are my stingers in action.

As others have said, these mufflers are onedifferent ends of the muffler spectrum. They are similar in thatneitherreally resonate inside the car, a good thing in my opinion. Many of the mufflers in between do cause some resonation in the car at cruise speed. At idle both sound good, with a personal preference to the boomtubes. When you crack into it is where the become different animals. If you want plenty of attention at full throttle, theboomtubes or other muffler deletesare the way togo.
