Default VIN plate

I need to make a tracing (trace over paper with a pencil) of my VIN. Can't seem to get to it at the dash, can the upper dash piece be removed easily or is there another location on the car with a raised VIN? Thanks!

The windshield would be easier to remove than the dash.
Use a soft lead artist pencil on a stick. It can be done.

looks like it will take a miracle to pull this off, but I'm going to try and rig something up today, I wish the dash could be easily removed...

Take a look and see if you feel cofident removing the dash
for a VIN tracing.
