HID conversion kits from E-bay
Yeah GTStang, Bi-Xenon means that it does High and Low beams. Here is the kit I got. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TODAY.m238.lVI As far as them fitting the GT 500 lights, I would just go out to your car and look at the plastic part of your current light bulbs and see what number they have on them. The ones on my GT are 9008 (aka H13).
Well I installed the kit today and guess what, they don't work. I have good grounds for every part, but I can not get the lights to ignite. There were absolutely no instructions in the box, its just like guess and check to find the signal wires, but i tried all combinations and they still dont work. I dont know whether to send them back or what.
I installed the bixenon head lights from e-bay and the fogs. I could not be happier. The bixenons pissed me off due to the high beams not working properly. Now I got them to work and they work a treat.
the cut off is great, I used my buddy as guena pig this evening and see if I could blind him. The headlights do not blind in low beam mode, the high beams do blind. The fogs are pointed a bit too high. I will be pointing them down soon, untill then I wont use them.
FYI for the nay sayers, the reflector is exactly the same for the factory hid's, even saleen uses stock reflectors. The difference is that saleen and ford put the servo in the front and not the back of the bulb. No biggie.

Just spend the extra cash and get the ones from Stangmods...they work, and they have a better warranty than what's probably left on your car from Ford, lol. Also, do yourself the favor and get the bi-xenon kit, you may think you'll never use your high beams, but besides it being illegal to not have high beams (I know, I know, these kits aren't exactly legal, but I can still get through inspection with them, as long as I have high beams), it is also helpful to flash someone to let them know they can go at an intersection, or cross the street or whatever the case may be.
jaguarking, I think my problem is hooking up the relay to the stock wiring harness so that the new HIDs know when to turn on. Do you know the order that they need to be plugged in to the stock harness, or did you just guess and check?
Nevermind, I figured it out. There is a connector on the ballast that still connects if it is turned upside down and I had both of those connected upside down. They work now
I think I know where to find my HID kit for when I do decide to pull the trigger, I almost lost faith when jahudso2 said his weren't workin LOL well I'm glad you got them to work now you know what you gotta do.....PICS!!!
