Just got my car back from shop. Had Silverhorse Louvers and Agent 47 mirrors painted/installed. Very happy with the finished product. The painter went the extra mile and also masked/painted the inside of the louvers as well to match my interior (light graphite leather) to really give them an OEM look. The pics:

I love it! I'm planning on the same louvers, and now I'm gonna have my guy paint the inside to match the interior as well. Looks really slick from the inside.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=drooldude.gif]

 

It'll cost you more ('cause they gotta mask/paint exterior, then mask/paint interior) but well worth it IMO.

 

Well, I'd rather have it done right then live with it done not the way I wanted, even if it does cost a little more.

 

So, do they replace the existing windows? Is there an increase in road noise?

yes - they replace the window. Here's a pic of mine with window removed.
no- no increase in noise at all - the louver is an exact fit and goes in with adhesive same as a replacement window would go in if you broke the stock window.

Did you remove the 1/4 glass or just smash it? I've heard that with those SHR louvers that its easier just to smash them instead of removing them....
