Okay i bought a car from auction, it has k&n cold air, bbk headers, magnaflow xpipes and axleback, I dont know if the car has got atune or not but will be finding out tomarrow, if the car does have atune how can i be able to get a stock tune back into the car when i dont have the tuner, so i can get another tuner b/c i am wanting to add more bolt ons. . . thanks

 

it's probably not any help but with the mods you have a tune wouldn't have been required. i'm pretty sure the k&n doesn't need a tune. you didn't say whether or not the car still has cats on it. if it doesn't have cats and doesn't have a check engine light then perhaps somebody has been messing around with a tuner. can you have the dealer reflash the computer with a stock tune?

 

The xpipes dont have cats on them, idk if you can have a dealer reflash the computer or not. . . having to look into this, car doesnt show check engine light. . . can you get away without cats and it not come on?

 

it could have mil eliminators to keep the check engine light from coming on and still not have a tune. i think some guys even claim they do the off road pipes and never do get a check engine light without mil eliminators or a tuner to modify parameters. i'm sure i'm not helping you here....you really need one of the ford techs that hang around to help you out. i should probably shut up so i don't steer you in the wrong direction.
