Dropping the GT dream due to gas prices...
I've saved and saved for a 07+ GT and with every little thing that happens in the middle east making oil go up a few dollars a barrel...and gas being about $3.60 for regular... That's no way I can afford a GT payment, gas, insurance and other bills right now.. Maybe later on in life when I have more money.... I still want a fast/semi fast car though....
I know this is the mustang forum but it's the only good car forum I know of and I wanted you guys to give me some ideas on some sporty/fast 4 cylinder cars! I was thinking a new Civic Si but I heard they have problems when you put turbo on it... Anyways, price has to be below $20,000 and the car needs to be atleast a 1-2 years old..
Thanks!!!
P.S, I DO NOT want a chevy Cobalt... regardless of it being turbo'd and having 260hp

did some math and i think you are making a big mistake. you cant just not get a car because of gas prices. the difference between 3 dollar gass and 350 gas is only 500 bucks a year. when you buy your car just finance and extra bucks and there you go. all the gas you will ever need and it would be a small price monthly

Why not get a GT? Stock GT's get in the mid 20's in MPG. Of course that depends on how you drive it. I wouldn't worry about gas prices. They're going to get so high soon no one will be able to afford to drive anyway. Might as well have fun while you can!
