Shaker 500 is more than enough for me.

my shaker 500- is great although i cant hear it cause of my exhaust.... i hate when people get really loud sound systems so the car like shakes when you play. its just pointless and annoying at least other people can appreciate my exhaust

This is pretty funny. Honestly there is no difference between your obnoxious sounding exhaust system and someones obnoxious sounding sound system. The Pot calling the Kettle Black hmm? I like both but seriously that comment was pretty hypocritical.

I'm no audiophile but I do know that without a magnet there is no speaker

A strong magnet doesn't HAVE to be big. Check out Neodyme / Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets

Besides that, factory speakers are never going to be high dollar so there's no point in getting twisted up about it. In my opinion they sound plenty good enough for what they are. They're never going to win any Ricer-I've-Got-the-loudest-Stereo competitions but that doesn't bother me.

ya.. i don't know.. i didn't buy the car for the stereo system.. but IMO.. it sounds pretty good..
Hahah, It all depends on the kind of music you listen too and how much of a music listener you are.I figured most of you guy's listen to Mozart, Classical, Opera ....Which is mostly Vocal's-Mid's........I Listen to anything, but mostly Reggae....where there's allot of Bass shaking, High Cymbal's with medium range vocal's.....This system just doesn't hold up to it...Thats why I'm upgrading

I'm not complaining, I'm just laughing

The Shaker500 wasn't BAD. But for some audiophiles, it's not enough. I didn't replace the speakers but I replaced the head unit, added two 10"s and a 1000 Watt amp. The speakers in the front are great, like mini subs! I hope they last long because I have no reason to swap them...YET

You can't come up with a intelligent response?

They definitely have magnets, thats how speakers work.

Mine will do until they bust, then I will upgrade to a better quality speaker. I am satisfied with the Shaker 500. Compared to every other car stereo, its the best I had yet (though thats not saying much).
