No offense bro, thats wrong. Our cars come with "solar tints" from the factory, which come out to around 6%, meaning our windows meter out at around 94%.

I had 35% (the tint shop put on 40% film, and it came out at around 35% because of tha factory glass) and it was not dark enough.

If it was raining and the droplets hung around on the window it created a dark mirror effect so someone outside could not see in, but that was the only time it was dark enough..

My advice, is go with the 20%. I got a 3M carbon film on mine with no metals in it (they can mess with cell phone and radio reception..)

(almost) all these pic are taken at angles.. this distorts the level of actual tint..

I have a pic of the 35% when I used to have it and you could have sworn it looked completely blacked out, simply because of the angle. Thewarmachine has some good examples of what 35% really looks like, and canesfan has a good example of what 20% looks like.

I'm not so sure it's 6% because I've used a tint meter on my glass that's been tinted at 5%. It meters out at 3%. I've also measured the tint by itself and it came out to 5%.

^^^ I'm just saying that's how it was for mine.. maybe some are diff..

mine's an 07.. idk if that makes a difference.

In any case, the main point should be that the OP should go darker than 35% if he/she is looking for a decently dark tint.
